Today, I write this with both a glass of pineapple juice and a cup of tea on my desk. Listening to Kiss. 

It's been a month of grafting to get the sales done. Mostly through other channels as we haven't quite got take off on the site yet. I am noticing from the data that I am getting more clicks, but sadly not that many purchases. Specifically, the data suggests my copy of The Orb's 'The Orbs Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld' is receiving the most interest. 

A 2025 reissue, the only one since it's 1991 release. This record was snatched up when I found out it was being reissued, it's a NM copy that's only graced my turntable a handful of times. On Discogs, the high price is only going up as they sell and the record stores sell out - I have mine priced at £45.00.
You may ask - but Joe, that's on the high side and you're complaining about not getting many sales. Well, munchkins - I don't particularly want to sell it. Much like my copy of Electric Wizard's self titled debut, these records are cherished. To rid them from my collection, the price has to be right. I am not going to whore myself out for sales, by selling records for cheap, that's what the 'Under £20' section is for! This ain't fuckin McDonalds baby!

This being said, I am going to have to create further incentives to drive business to the site. So I am going to launch a Valentines Day sale, any record related to 'love' will be reduced by 14% until the end of the month. This is the level I have sunk to... cheap advertising methods, will they work? This means most of the Type O Negative will be reduced!!

My discogs store remains my most active channel of sale. With their 18% fee, this eats into my profit and ideally, I'd re-navigate any buyer to purchase them off my site instead, where the fee is 1%. Doing that through the built in messenger inside Discogs receives warnings from their authoritarian IT goons.

The next things on my list is to slowly list this massive house collection on the site, which will require lots of late nights and lots of arguing with Chat GPT, there is a google list of all of the releases, in case anyone smart wants to contact me and take a bunch off of me before they're listed. I also need to prepare myself for my first ever record fair, as I'm going to have a pitch at Order Tattoo Jam in Amsterdam April 2,3,4. I am bringing a selection of records, tapes, VHS & CDs with me, alongside a basket of patches and some DIY lighters I've made. 

For now, I guess this is another submission into the SEO void that ultimately will timestamp a period of 'wilderness'. I hope to look back humbly at these moments. 

All the other shit that's going on in the world is absolutely fucked, the media spins scandal after scandal. UK government is falling and will be overthrown by the primitive far right in due course. We are all doomed and to be honest, I'm happy here with my tea and Kiss until we all get disintegrated.
